Garland threatened.. “attacked in his work place”
last last night the PSNI delivered to prominent Unionist activist Ricard Garland, news that he faced an imminent threat to his life, in his work place and that the use of a gun could not be ruled out.
The story, broke on Twitter with Richard himself posting that the news had been delivered late in the evening, by the Police.
Richard confirmed via social media the threat did not come from Republicans and also that he knew little more than he had already disclosed, adding that it was likely due to his perceived stance on the Irish Sea border, which he insists he has always opposed and continues to oppose.
The threat has been rightly met with universal condemnation from many quarters.
